Molokini, Hawaii



Molokini is a sickle formed, mostly submerged volcanic hole which structures a little islet found in Alalakeiki Channel between the islands of Maui and Kahoʻolawe, a piece of Maui County in Hawaiʻi. Potassium-argon dating by Yoshitomo Nishimitsu of Kyoto University shows that Molokini ejected roughly 230,000 years prior. 

Archeological confirmation, fundamentally as stone sinkers and baits, demonstrate that early Hawaiians went by Molokini to fish. They additionally likely collected seabirds, eggs and plumes.
