The Amalfi Coast is a stretch of coastline on the southern shoreline of the Sorrentine Peninsula in the Province of Salerno in Southern Italy. The Amalfi Coast is a famous vacationer end of the line for the locale and Italy in general, drawing in a great many voyagers annually. During the 10th–11th hundreds of years, the Duchy of Amalfi existed on the region of the Amalfi Coast, focused in the town of Amalfi. The Amalfi coast was later controlled by the Principality of Salerno, until Amalfi was sacked by the Republic of Pisa in 1137. From that point forward the Amalfi coast has encountered an emergency. In 1997, the Amalfi Coast was recorded as an UNESCO World Heritage Site as a social scene. 

Like whatever remains of the area, the Amalfi Coast lies in a Mediterranean atmosphere, offering warm summers and gentle winters. It is found on the moderately soak southern shore of the Sorrentine Peninsula, practically ruling out provincial and horticultural regions. The main area course to the Amalfi Coast is the 40 kilometers (25 mi) long Strada Statale 163 which runs along the coastline from the town of Vietri sul Mare in the east to Positano in the west. Thirteen districts are spotted on the Amalfi Coast, a number of them revolved around tourism. 

The Amalfi Coast is known for its generation of limoncello alcohol as the range is a known cultivator of lemons, known as sfusato amalfitano in Italian, which are developed in terraced enclosures along the whole drift in the middle of February and October.
