River of Five Colors, Caño Cristales - Most Amazing and Beautiful

Caño Cristales (Meaning: Crystal Spout) is a Colombian stream placed in the Serrania de la Macarena territory of Meta. The waterway is usually called the "River of Five Colors" or the "Liquid Rainbow", and is even alluded to as the most delightful stream on the planet because of its striking colors. The cot of stream toward the end of July through November is differently colored yellow, green, blue, dark, and particularly red, the last brought about by the Macarenia clavigera (Podostemaceae) on the base of the waterway.

Geology
The quartzite rocks of the Serrania de la Macarenia tableland framed more or less 1.2 billion years back. They are a western augmentation of the Guiana Shield of Venezuela, Guyana, and Brazil and have a place with the most seasoned uncovered shakes on the planet.

Caño Cristales is a quick waterway with numerous rapids and waterfalls. Frequently in the bunk have structured little round pits - monster's pots, which have been framed by stones or lumps of harder rocks. At the point when one of these harder rock parts can be categorized as one of the holes, it is pivoted by the water ebb and flow and starts to cut at the cavity divider and expands the measurements of the pit.

Tourism
To reach Caño Cristales, it is important to go to the district of La Macarena, Meta, in Meta Department. There are two approaches to get there, from Villavicencio, in a DC-3 payload airplane turning out consistently, or from Bogota, by immediate flight that withdraws each Friday and profits for Sunday. In the blink of an eye, there are no camping areas accessible close Caño Cristales.

A well known time to visit Caño Cristales is from late July to ahead of schedule December.
